Down the road
Came a toad
Just hopping along,
Just hip pity-hop, and singing a song.
He met a frog,
And said to him,
"Just give, me a pond
That I can swim in.
If you haven't got a pond,
A pail will do.
If you haven't got a pail,
Then give me a slue.
Down the road,
Just hopping all day,
I'm a fat old toad,
But I like it that way."
