The beautiful bluebird sings to me
With a "queedle, queedle" and a "turee."
It flies from it's fence-post nest
To bring me joy and happiness!

The sunset orange, the bonny blue,
I love them both - how about you?
This bird belongs to the Show-Me state
And is part of what makes it great!
