I try not to think, too much of myself
Ev'ryday I try to find, something to laugh about
I try to take advantage, of ev'ry minute of my time

I'll never laugh at, troubles of others
Ev'ryday I give my thanks, to my beloved mother
And to the good Lord above, I give thanks for giving me life

Ev'ry storm I've been through
Has made me stronger each time
Someone's always been there
To ease the pain in my mind
And I never let my dreams, get out of sight
When I've got a mountain to climb
And I never let my dreams, get out of sight

There's my first marriage, ended in divorce
Just when I got over that, a house fire just left the doors
I'm here to say life is tough, but givin' up I'm not that kind
