TITLE: My Birth Day

Me thinks one needs
A stiff upper lip
A breastplate forged in fire
A duty calls, I go attitude
And some control over desire
That changes with the mood.
Somewhere between yesterday
And those tomorrows that may be
I can take a deep breath
And spend a few moments just for me.
The world you see
Changes like the wind,
What you thought could not end
Might wither up, and cause you great pain
Like it or not learning to bend
Helps to keep you sane.
And these matters of ones self
Lets me live with that which I've felt
As each year comes for me
My birth day restarts my destiny.
